Teaching & Consulting

Science is most alive when it leaves the lab.

I teach and consult across academic and non-academic settings, from university seminars to workshops.

Current topics include:

Data visualization

Turning numbers into pictures that actually communicate something. From choosing the right chart to building interactive visuals — for researchers, students, or anyone drowning in data.

Music Perception

What does the brain do when it hears music? How do we track rhythm, recognize melody, and feel moved by sound? An accessible introduction to the cognitive science and neuroscience of musical experience.

Building Research Systems

The practical side of running experiments: synchronizing signals, wiring hardware, building pipelines that hold together under real conditions. Useful for researchers setting up multimodal labs or anyone who needs their devices to talk to each other.

If any of this sounds like a fit for your event, institution, or organization, I would love to hear from you.
